Get the app for Windows or Mac.

Download it as many times as you need. When you open the app it asks for your license key. No key yet? Pick Try it free to test it on your own clips first.

Windows SmartScreen puts up a blue box the first time you run it, because we have not bought a signing certificate yet. Click More info, then Run anyway.
On a Mac, the first time you open DVR Doctor macOS says it can't check the app, because we have not paid Apple for a developer certificate yet. Click Done, open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down, click Open Anyway next to DVR Doctor and enter your password. You only do this once. The Mac version needs an Apple Silicon Mac (M1 or newer) with macOS 13.4 or later.

Setup, step by step

  1. Windows: download and run DVR-Doctor-Setup.exe. Mac: open DVR-Doctor-Mac.dmg and drag DVR Doctor into Applications.
  2. Open the app and paste the license key from your purchase receipt, or pick Try it free. Activate your key within 30 days of buying it, or it stops working.
  3. The key locks to that computer. You can reinstall or update whenever you like and it keeps working. The app tells you when there is a new version.

Cannot find your key?

It is in the receipt email from the store and on the page you land on right after paying. If the app says it cannot reach the activation server, check that nothing on your machine is blocking DVR Doctor from going online, then try again. If it keeps happening, message us on Discord and we will sort it out.
